lunar dust

whirlwinds stir the moon
rocks disintegrate.
the comminution
agglutination
lunar regoliths
thimbleful shards
little fragments
acquamarine
agglutinates
microns, fine
as flour, yet
abrasive
clinging
sticky
dust
haze
bending
floating
static dust
in motion
cascading
afore daybreak
behind nightfall
through eventide
smouldering sky

  1. That’s what happens when you close your eyes and visualize how the beauty of the moon was formed. Only Yassy can take a reader to a place so magical……you’re an amazing woman.
