To A Lustrous Dawn

Dawn breaks over the eastern sky
A blazed zephyr carries birds' chorale
To the stars and the moon, a goodbye.

On the horizon, tequila sun sighs
Lending verve to day's morale
Dawn breaks over the eastern sky.

Starlight ditties of lullaby
Give way to a cerulean royale
To the stars and the moon, a goodbye.

Chirping on my window-sill, a magpie
Feathered choirs, so mystic, surreal
Dawn breaks over the eastern sky.

Rosette tints radiate, magnify
A lilac sky swathes to reveal
To the stars and the moon, a goodbye.

Solar ripples intensify
Sparking a luminous appeal
Dawn breaks over the eastern sky
To the moon and the stars, a goodbye.

# A Villanelle poem.

When The Cosmos Awakens

Fragrant blossoms perfume the trees
Air roseate with redolence
Birds warbling endless resonance.

Dew luminesces flowers and leaves
Where butterflies on morning jaunt
Fluttering prismatic feathers flaunt.

Morning serenade by bees
Nuzzling blooms for their sweet nectar
The quèen bee's honey collector.

Leaves rustled by a gentle breeze
Cloudless sky vaulting green meadows
Lambs grazing in peaceful shadows.

Dropping slowly into the eaves
Dry leaves and twigs, the sparrows find
A nest, a home they weave and bind.

Fragrant blossoms perfume the trees
Dew luminesces flowers and leaves
Morning serenade by bees
Leaves rustled by a gentle breeze
Dropping slowly into the eaves.
