Flaming Moon

A mauve sky tumbles
On glowing jack-o'-lanterns;
Dew-laced breeze dances golden.

Tugging at the tides
Moon breaks water on the shore;
Artemis prepares to hunt.

Soul-Fire – A Shadorma

Twinkle-toed
They dance in moon-glow
Melting to
Honeyed touch
Breaths scatter on starlit winds
Igniting a flame.

Darkness dreams
Hanging on to stars
Soul of night
Burning bright
Flipping blackness to starlight
Heartbeats trace love lines.

Solitude’s Bloodroots

Poetry becomes my wisdom
Subduing the melancholy
I bleed like a warrior
Make touch red to blue.

I catch a Freesia breeze
Holding fragrant peacock quill
To write my soul's graffiti
A carmine inked dream....

And then I find " a face in poetry "
In the amaranthine pause of my breath.

Unmapping

Carousing Hummingbirds
Warble
Sky parades a flutter of wings

Peeping through
Spring's
Hued foliage

Butterflies, bees comb the blossoms
Under
A lilting sapphirine playground

Feathers twirl
Chase
Amethyst rush

Aurai play violins
Chorales
Waft like fiddler's notes on the breze

Rhapsodies
That
Brush the senses

Awakening the muse
Gently
Reminding me of nature's beauty

Transcending
Through
Time's, fate's realm.

The above poetic form here has been introduced to me by Avia Tinder of The Friday Sparrow.
