My favourite wrestler is Shawn Michaels
Huge, muscled men, twice his size, he tackles
The ‘Heartbreak kid’, ’tis his nickname
Gets beaten black n blue, thrashes it out for fame.
#A Clerihew
I was saddened by the untimely death of The Ultimate Warrior
Great choice!

The modern day wrestlers wouldn’t last five minutes with Big Daddy or Giant Haystacks ๐ A nice Clerihew yassy that may spark some debate.

Yeah you are right. Let’s argue for arguments sake.

My wrestling expertise was fostered on a UK programme called World of Sport in the 1970 and 80s. I am lost beyond then ๐

I don’t think I’d make a wrestler being all skin and bone.

Those wrestlers were at their peaks when wrestling was fun to watch. Your piece brings back so many memories. My grandfather, who was deaf, never missed wrestling and if I visited him on a Saturday evening, the house was filled with mean Gene’s voice as these athletes beat one another to a pulp. This nostalgic moment was brought to you by Yasmin ๐ Thank you!!

Yes. Way back it was fun. Now everything has become a wee bit too commercial , so this sense of deja vu.
