This is a two for one! You can swap the words ‘trauma’ and ‘broken’ for a different slant that reads just as beautifully. You are ever the trickster, Yasmin!
I find myself consistently dwelling on traumatic events, and I hate myself for it. Sometimes I think using a spiritual path should work, but at least not yet, it doesn’t work. I still dwell and even become more bitter. Sometimes only anger gets me through. I heard that good people go through horrible things. I used to believe that until I finally realized depending on perspective a person becomes good or bad. So, in the end, people just go through horrible things and others just rollerskate through life at a leisurely pace. Maybe there is no meaning to any of this or maybe the trauma is meant for something that goes beyond this world or our understanding. who knows…
Very true. On the surface we can all seem “just fine” but inside those wounds are there. They even hide, and we feel they are gone, only to reappear when we least expect them. ๐
I agree. Who ever came up with that line “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” has never been through really tough times or a lot of traumatic moments!!
Just like everyone I wish for no trauma in life, but Iโve had my fair share of itโas it seems inevitable. Now I pray the Universe gives me the courage, persistence, and all it takes to be triumphant in life and hereafter. ๐
I also wonder about, “whatever doesn’t kill us makes us stronger”. I tend not to believe it. I think more along the lines of, “whatever doesn’t kill us, kills us slower”. ๐คช

It’s exactly right how you say. And yet: we have to somehow try to use the pain to uplift, which is just a hard thing to do. There’s no good answer for trauma. This is as real as it gets. Thanks for sharing it.
Yassy!! Try to use the pain of your trauma and to into into energy that can change your life. Basically like my blog post says. Recycle your pain, or trauma. You can do it!! I hope your well๐๐
I know a lot of people are in the same place. Feeling down and Isolated. Try to focus on the positive in this situation. You can learn and come out of this a smarter and stronger person. Goodluck mate

And we are all trauma – you might argue that mental health is not an illness but a normal human psychological response to trauma.
