A mauve sky tumbles On glowing jack-o'-lanterns; Dew-laced breeze dances golden. Tugging at the tides Moon breaks water on the shore; Artemis prepares to hunt. #Sedoka Sedoka is an unrhymed poem made up of two three line Katauta. 5/7/7 5/7/7

So watch out Orion.
For Wonder Woman
will be high flying π

I would stand in the path of Artemis.
Unlike Orion, who duly received
a good belting. His fate was written
in the stars, I guess π€

You would also be standing in the path of Apollo , her twin
Itβs a no win win
But if you would rather π

No bow no Arrow no hunting knives
Without a quiver
Apollo must fly
Fly with the sun and the light
And the poetry

Beautiful and haunting! The use of color helps to paint a lovely mental image for the reader and invokes greater connection to the words. Well written! π

Nice one. . I love the tie-in of Greek mythology. Her relation to childbirth and the imagery of the moon, reminds me of the song, “Che la luna mezzo mare”
