The Haiku I know used to have 5 syllables for the fiesr line; 7 syllables for the second line and 5 syllables for the last linem LikeLiked by 1 person
Just check Wikipedia for haiku. Read about Japanese haiku poets and their work. Read Haiga online. It’s very helpful. Read Basho more. LikeLiked by 1 person
Having gone through now, I have a better understanding that the 5-7-5 pattern is a traditional method which is not compulsory. Thanks LikeLiked by 1 person
