Comatose

once upon a night, I dreamed
a dream that I often thought
went beyond what I deemed
would come true, but came to naught.

an uneasy slumber gave
no reprieve, as I tossed, turned
to drowse I did badly crave
eyelids flickered open, yearned

for bliss of oblivion
attained in night’s dormancy
a quiescent soul shaken
by somnolent truancy.

  2. If a poet can be put down
    Why can’t I look up
The skirt that hides your meaning

All I want is a set of leafs
    With answers to riddles
    That even Tolkien would need

    It’s like vermeil and copper
    The weight worth more
    Than a ring can advertise

All I want is a solution
    For those words I despise
    Which you seem to hoard

    I’m jealous over
    that which can’t be bought…

    I miss u poet (?)
