I walk quite a lot, and am happy when watching the horizon as I wander. Consequently, I favour large, heavy boots. These boots are made for walking, as a song assures us!
Thatβs awesome. I think walking is a wonderful way of relaxing and keeping fit. But itβs interesting to read about your boots. I am sure you walk several miles in them. You sound like you are walking a poem.
It’s an old Country & Western song called “These Boots are Made for Walking”. Can’t remember the singer off the top of my head. It’s quite funny, at least to my sense of humour.
Iβm glad to hear that.
Weβre doing okay, thanks dear Yassy. Darrin has dropped one of his chemo chemicals and feels a lot better for it. π
Iβm so glad you still write! Youβre a gift, thatβs for sure π»
Oh, I just shared a song a couple days ago. Iβm more around to catch up on everyone elseβs writing. Iβve found it so hard to find words lately, I really appreciate the words of others right now. Itβs lovely to check in and see people Iβve missed β€οΈ
Iβm just happy Darrinβs still here to celebrate the Easter weekend with me. The doctors didnβt expect that π
Can bite in more ways than one Yassy especially when you experience what it’s like to live that person’s life and travel their journey! I like what you did there! πππ
Your poem should be a required exercise in real life, for each and every one of us–at least one time, if not more. And then there are those without shoes at all….
Thank you , Sunshine. You make me smile with your lovely comments.. I feel so much better about myself. Thank you.sending you super huge hugs. Be well.
AHHHHH!!!! I’m so happy! I sincerely hope You know that You gift SOOOO much through just Being and sharing Your wonderful gift!!! Seriously!!! You are a splendid, Divine, Sweet, Loving, Amazingly Insightful Being and You deserve to rejoice in Being YOU!!! And Thank You! You be well too!!! π€π€π€β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπππ!
I can be me because of you. And I happily and sincerely thank for all the encouragement, inspiration and heart warming thoughts that you generously dispense. A wonderful and thoughtful friend you are dear gorgeous Kate. ππ€β€οΈ

i’d walk a 1000 miles
just to feel…
one pebble is all
it takes to tell…
and yet chasing after you
is like a wound in a worn heel…
still your tongue is so tight!
