On The Pulse Of Time

I love the time I spend with you
I want to do it all over again
Each time we meet, it's new 
Sweet talk never tasted better.

It's like being in a rainbow with you
You show me colors not seen before
Like being in a dream that may come true
I can feel the hope in my heart grow 
I just can't do without you anymore.

  5. I’m feeling the pitter patter of rainbow drops parading down my back. Can you still own a moment in time if you all at once consumed by it? I’ll drown in red and reach for violet clouds to a quiet ends before I know the answer.

  8. Are you referring to love or a bag of Skittles? 😆 I couldn’t resist. 😉 Both are sweet, but tasting the rainbow of love is more pleasing and heart expanding. Skip the candy aisle and lose yourself in a rainbow, poet Yasmin. 🌈💓💓💓

  13. I enjoy the simple, almost idle rhythm of this poem – it feels penned along the margin of a shared novella. Deeply emotional, yearning, and yet lighthearted all the same. Lovely.
