Bewitched






Beneath the sky's luminous runway
Enchanted by the shimmering cosmic odyssey 
Walking a silver roam that pours amber
Into the crepuscule’s piquant glow
Tip-toeing into rhythms celestial 
Captivated by stardust's knitted luster
Heady, this feeling of being transported 
Enveloped by the caress of a starlit mist
Delicate, this  drenching of a 'forevermore' serenade.

Such exquisite imagery–I love the first line’s “luminous runway”, and Every Single word that follows….wowwwwww… “delicate drenching, ‘forevermore serenade”…and the “stardust’s knitted luster”.       I wanted to write this for a long time. I scribble on paper and then I found what I had written over a period of time. I am happy you like it , it means my efforts went not in vain .you write this or I write this poem matters not in the least, finally we are poets and we think alike and that is why we bond so well ..

        You know I WILL!!!!  My friend/sister Deb and I are having Cornish Game Hens, stuffing, yams (with cinnamon sugar, butter and marshmallows–my recipe!), Brussel Sprouts (with bacon and something–her recipe!), cranberry sauce… We rarely stop eating!!  Love you!!💝
