I’ve written hundreds of poems… though, I’ve still remained somewhat asleep so much of the time. As in, I’ve not been successful in solidifying my pain in any of those poems. It’s as if the constant stream of my life is in a half-conscious/half-unconscious state.
Can ever a memory be taken from the mind, to be fully shared through the poem? Perhaps that is the curse of a writer/artist. To naively feel as though the world cannot comprehend such pain.
Love is expressed through my poems. I am gentle in that. Though… there is rage in my philosophies, much disappointment in the world, and then in myself. I’d like to think I’m drawing on both hemispheres of my mind. Yet, there is a line between both, right?
Confusion… as to where I belong. I’ve been in depression for a good 7 months.
Hehe. I like when posts of bloggers can spark my thoughts alive. 🙂
I just started following you so I will be reading you.
I feel the all of what you have expressed here .. I think that is why I write . It’s you , all you and you just said it very eloquently what many of us feel and are unable to express.
Don’t let anything depress you. Not worth it. 😊
I tend to just think ofa wird that I like and I’m off. But yes, writing poetry is liberating. We key into the very heart of our sekves, your poetry is beaytuful yassy. I have always loved it
I like it! And I also like what you said in the comments, regarding writing being cathartic/therapeutic–that we “write our own prescriptions”–WOWZA, that’s good!!
Thank you, Avia. I am happy you think likewise . All we poets tend to think alike in many ways … that cements our bond .. see you around .. will check on you later 😊🤗
“Poetry soothes and emboldens the soul “. I don’t know who actually quoted it, but that’s actually true. I’m a beginner here in wordpress, and it has really given me a chance to express my thoughts in poems. I just wrote my first poem and it gives me a feeling of self satisfaction.
Hello!, my blog name is Bitaboutme could you please like comment and follow i have just started and i am only 9 years old! 🙂 i would realy appreciate it! 🙂
That is exactly what my mind needs to do.
I am certain your mind is always working on beautiful poetry.

Same here. When I settle down to write a poem or any piece, memories that I could not easily recall start coming back to me.

Writin is therapy. It’s cathartic. It’s disciplined creativity so that makes you a genius , no 😊. Yes 😊

Yes😊, writing takes discipline. It calms my nerves and unburdens my mind. Quite therapeutic. 😀

So rightly said, Awa. So , a poet , a writer writes his/her own prescription 👍🤗
