Quicksilver Drifting

Quicksilver drifting ~~
Moonbeams drip
The gloaming:
From somewhere...
Sounds of birds
Flying home,
In the scent of a star
The fading copper shadowsβ€”-

Dreaming on a starburst
I defy my mind to write a poem ..

  1. Amazing… every line. But the “scent of a star” really carried my fancy away. And I love the ending. Beautiful, Yassy. πŸ’—πŸŒŸπŸ’«βœοΈ

  2. What can I say that hasn’t been said before about this poem here? It’s so beautiful. It is immersive with rich and intricate detail in cosmic imagery with defiant revelations! πŸ˜‰

The final three lines are my favorite. They are amazing and I can just delve into those words and resonate with them. It’s like a slow meteorite to ride on and picture; the imagery just grabs you.

Amazing writing yet again. You are a talented wordsmith.
