Destiny spins a yarn threading A fibre through time To string up time on the wall or Embedded in an hourglass Well propotioned An equal upper and a lower half Like a doll Fate caught in a glass jar Flowing relentlessly, unstoppable Held under supervision in a place Called the four walls A house, a home Putty in whose hands A yarn is spun on a drop spindle To coat a collectible with sensibilities Carelessly toyed with Molded, branded, burned with The stamp of chauvinistic, masochism In this state of doom, time stands still, Tears prick the back of eyelids The prick of needle oozes blood Rubbed with shifting, sifting sands Little time granules freeze For that one moment But glory evades.
If words could describe how I liked this

The first and last line feel like they are joined together and make your poem a ‘circle in a spiral’…I borrowed that from an old song I like. This is really good, Yasmin ~ George

Isn’t it amazing how we can feel like this all out lives. Feeling like this as a child if our parents were…ummm I don’t know, not so caring/loving/parently(?) if these are the right words because really what is a good parent but what we picture them to be. Then to adulthood, when we feel it will be out escape only to be back in those four walls, all though different four walls but same place 🙂 but ahhh too deep of a thought for such an early hour 🙂

It’s okay but like Maya Angelou says, Still I rise. Still I rise. Her poems are so beautifully eloquent, and inspiring. How have you been , Maggi ?

Yes we rise. Is there a choice? 🙂 🙂 Look who is talking about beautifully eloquent, and inspiring poetry… yours are too 🙂 Thats what drew me her to you 🙂 I have been. I have been better, I have been worse but I can at least say that I have been 🙂 How about your my dear poetress, how are you?

Awwwwww 🙂 🙂 You make me so happy 🙂 You make me feel very useful today, very loved today 🙂 Life isn’t always easy, nor is it always fun. Sometimes it feels like neither 🙂 I feel that those of us that have felt the most despair really appreciate the little things. We see glimmers that others will miss. A person sitting in a lit up room doesn’t see a sparkle of light. A person sitting in darkness sees every sparkle of light 🙂 We tend to be more optimistic because to not feel it is to give up, give in, and therefor giving away all of what we have left 🙂 But my dear to make a loved one smile and laugh that is a true compliment 🙂

Awwwwwweeeee I am so happy to see you happy . No, life is not easy so I appreciate your time here with me , Maggi . I love the wisdom of your words , beautiful words , never read anything as beautifully eloquent as what you have written here and it amazes me at the wisdom and philosophy of your words , Maggi. You are very intuitive and a lot of insight goes behind the thoughts you portray. You are dear to me now and always and forever , be happy always , Maggie. Good to see you smiling.

Just like the thread you speak of, the words here are woven in such a way as to reveal a greater truth, as a whole tapestry, than any one thread could sustain. Always amazed at the beauty you create!

Beauty is created out of pain , anguish gives rise to poetry as I have noticed in your poetic endeavours too, if I may take the liberty of saying . I think there is more pain than happiness all around and solace is found in the unburdening of grieving words.
