Breathing

Transparent,
Translucent,
I flow like water in deep sea
I flow with time
Abiding
Breathing in the
Vastness of infinite space..

I flow, with the flow of time
And tide, psychedelic..
Living in the monotony
Of mindless decadence,
Repressed, yet, in the
Involuntary movement of
Humdrum chores, a chaos of innate
Dreams myriad??, cascades..

I flow with time,
Letting the sublimal
Lull my intuitive heart
Into believing destiny
Sculpts the fore, intrinsic.

Time edges me into balancing my psyche
An incomprehensive manifestation, degenerating
Into spasms of cacophonic inevitability..

The pendulum slides with a mundane clack,
A pulsating ticking like adrenaline:
Rushing, racing, pumping, a
Nemesis carrying
A spell.

  1. I really, really like this. No, I love this. I am this. I was sorry it was over. Ya know this one could really develop into a novel of sorts. Superb. As an A/P aficionado I throughly imagine this going further.

      1. Once in a while I reread something, not for clarity, but for awe. ‘Breathing’ was one of them. This just struck me. It’s not perfect, but oh so close to it. Love it

      2. If it wasn’t a pure compliment, it should’ve been. Lol What I should have said was “complete”. Hence the novel reference. Loved it thoroughly.

  2. “The pendulum slides with a mundane clack”…….that is the sound of many breathes that one can take. Your poetry is fine art and can be taken so many ways and that’s what makes you so good at your craft. Reading this had me taking labored breaths Yassy, your words, formation and poetry form is pure breath taking. I love your vocabulary, I truly do….you take it to a whole new level, I love your work.🌹🌹
