My hammock

cocooned in aΒ turquoise shell
a gossamer cradle soothes
lulling to a reverie
in nature's arms, I lie curled.

  1. Well put!!! I love my hammock as well and You nailed it! Hurricane Matthew took one of the trees that held ours. We tied it to the porch. Next year hurricane Irma took the other tree. Now it’s folded up in the garage. Was just thinking yesterday, we really need to make time to put up a post or something. Then I read Your poem. On it!!! Happy cocooning and lulling! I’ll toast You when we finally get it back up!!! πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—β˜€οΈ
