Incarnadine rush

I freefall into magnolia dreams
Feeling the rush of incarnadine.
Turning daydreams into lines
Erasing the doubt that defines.
Hueing the birth of poetry
As syllables snuggle this coterie.
I catch broken pieces of my poem
Freeing from angst of my roam.
Stars word-play in my ear
Lunar rhythms lumiere.
I spell musical sounds of my words
Push touch ivory of notes curved.
I walk into a library of heartstrings
Pull out a diary to see what memories bring.
I blink into a life that has bruised me
Finding solace in my strength's beauty.

  1. I absolutely love your wording Yassy, it’s simply beautiful. I love your musical description in the poem, “Push touch ivory of notes curved. I walk into a library of heartstrings” it just brings the image of a harp into my mind. What a symphony when I read your work, the images they bring are something wonderful. Pure lyrical rush is what you give your readers, blogosphere is so blessed.🌹🌹

    1. I think I am so much in love with words lol hahaha really 😜 ah! But your comment sure did pull on my heartstrings , my good friend Jo!! Mostly , I find your comments to be of a rhapsodic nature, makes me sing. I guess that is why I write. You have a good week, what’s left of it 😊🙂

  2. You are a true poet…poetress! The way I have always imagined one to be. Someone who is so truly able to convey the feelings of their heart and soul and enable me to visualize that same path that they are on for a little while.
    Simply stunning Yassy!

      1. It’s wonderful when you talk ! Margarita, aren’t you taking care of yourself ? Pray , take care , dear girl. I can feel the tiredness in your voice as you speak and I can picture your dear face as I read , my dear soul sister . You have to be well !

      2. That is worrisome . You have to stay strong. I am worried now. Is it going to be alright. God gives people He loves all the ailments , I think. Just His way of testing .

      3. No worrying allowed, it just steals your joy, and you deserve all the joy in the world :):):)It’s actually been a blessing, it’s nothing that will kill me, and it’s kept me from getting that nasty flu that everyone has had. The doctor says my body is fighting a virus, that 95% of the population in childhood, or teen years, then it stays in the body but goes dormant. It’s dormant in me too but for some reason my immune system has decided to attack this virus hahaha. The normal antibodies for it are a negative 10, and mine are a positive 319, so it is really, really trying to kill this virus for some reason. He said it’s like having mononucleosis times 10 except I am not contagious and my glands aren’t swollen. But since my immune system is working so hard, I will be extremely exhausted and it’s depleted my Vitamin D. He said there’s nothing they can do but let my body do what it’s doing, and take a vitamin D supplement because the D fuels the immune system. He said when I feel good, do what I want, when I am extremely exhausted to rest. So, see it’s nothing horrible, just inconvenient :):):):) No worries, only happiness :):)

    1. I know , Davy. Words are so evocative. I love the language of words ! It has a meaning and life of it’s own , in the way it’s used. You know what I mean.
