an apple a day

I slipped and fell, fractured my ribs
The doctor strung me up on saline drips
I didn't want to eat an apple a day
The doctor was too handsome to keep away
His chemistry my pain eclipse.

      1. I do like and write the occasional Limerick yassy.

There was a poet called yassy
Whose rhymes were more than just classy
        They became works of art
        Playing tunes on your heart
        Leaving you feeling all sassy.

        Just for you πŸ™‚
