claustrum

thoughts shut in darkness
claustrophic mind in
the darkness of no escape
strangulation of rational process
of thinking , emoting
pent up anxieties
frustrations
knotting up in the stomach
the mind erupting
like a volcano
reactions of shackled destiny.
defeaning silence of screams
that leave the throat , only
a gasp, a hoarse whisper
repurcussions of releasing
breath slowing leaving the body
for the timeless eternity that
shapes destiny
hands that break and take
the depthof a person's fate
dissolving
into uncertain beliefs of what maybe,
can be
impermanent life to be
permanently
toyed with.

    1. You have raised the bar around here, that’s why we try to give it out best shot. I think you are in a class of your own. Btw, where did it go?
You say the most beautiful things. I am smiling , Charles. πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—

  2. wow what magnificent verbosity
an explosion an eruption of words
    tsunamis flood my brain flushing
intact poems as yet not scribed
    waves of passion poetic prose
paining me now out of control
    you’ve lit a fuse unknowingly
    an anthology seeking paper
mentally I can now at last savour
pain was but a psychological stammer
released now by virtue of my sanity
what was pain is now wondrous rapture
i have been myopic I see now galaxies
each one an expression of your grace
the force that meanders through you
    teleporting across cyberspace informing
that the Word Press poet laureate
has found her place, yes you Yasmin Khan

    1. My precious friend, you are so good with your words , it’s stunning the way you write. You are a natural. My dear literary Einstein and all the geniuses rolled into one spectacular human being. I proudly give you Mick. WordPress has no other like him. I am blessed to know him. Hope Aileen has brought down her cigs. You, are you looking after yourself well?

  3. And from a dark place a great light appeared and shone. This is powerful piece yassy. One of the downsides of blogging is if you miss it first time you might not catch it again. Thank you for reposting and sharing.

      2. Nooooo, don’t want you crying. Too pretty to make those lovely eyes all red and puffy :):) God does truly bless me. I went to make a small breakfast and was thinking about how He continues to bless me with meeting such a wonderful person like yourself. I was composing little verses in my head about your beautiful words and how happy they make me. See how you have inspired me :):):)
