midsummer equipoise

I sit dreaming in this moment in time.
The dear sweetness of full voiced nightingales warbling
their love melodies fill the burning midsummer air.
Availing myself of a gentle breeze flung far from heaven, I
play with my pen..

the mellow notes
of a thrush fade into
twilight reflections..

A swan white moon timidly appears in a pewter sky.
The bubbling torrent torrent of melody fades as birds take
to their nests.

the summer sky
melts into a solstice song...
riddle of the stars

A freeborn zephyr nudges me out of my reverie.
My quill slips from my fingers. The gloam etches the rhymes
of the night..the earth inkes with consonats of coherent thought..

flowers and birds dream
in the crespescue lustre...
I think of haikus.

    1. So much generosity in your heart. You are truly a lioness. A lionhearted warrior princess. You stand tall , I have literally placed you on a pedestal. You are my Venus ! Pure and true. A pristine soul. Not many like you.

    1. You write fabulously, my dear M! Thank you for such wonderful thoughts. We are in this journey together, you , me , this WP journey where I met the purest soul I know. The beauty of your words remind me of the roses that you brought to life.

  1. Magnifique! your words blossoming across your page,
Colourful the ink from your quill, once dipped in a rainbow,
Retaining the magic that only rainbows can bestow.
Your mind, it levitates, nature has you center stage!
