joule electric air
all around us, palpitating
feeling the static energy
stirring the spirit
latent yet subtle
glow in motion called life
conducting itself inside of us
warming the gut
transforming the insipidness
of pessimism’s coldness
penetrating the coolness of apathy
rousing the fervor of phlegmatic
convection of impetuosity
conflagration activating cells in the body
coursing through veins
red hot inflammation
inspiring the spirit
to combust into radiation
dissipating into verve
green turns to golden
as marmalade sky pours down
amber aurum blaze….
glowing orange Hunter’s moon
the rise and fall of the tides
This celestial glory inspires
Serenading nocturnal desires
Illuminating earth with silver light
In twilight’s aftermath, a soothing sight.
As glittering stars round her meander
She smoulders with ethereal ardor
Enticing the tides of oceans and seas
Bringing the darkness of night on its knees.
Her aura, divinely sensational
Orbiting with pull gravitational
Selene rides the night sky galvanizing
Arousing dreams, her spark tantalizing.
Her white luminous face exhilerates
As quill emotes, my pulse accelerates
Perfectly alright to be imperfect
Makes us more human, its not a defect.
Outlandish were those coal black eyes
Fringed with thick black lashes
Lingering in their depths
Dreams unreleased into reality
Time only could take to unfold.
Like the eyes of an ardent lover
Holding in their depth
A dreamy yet warm glow
As those eyes slowly lick your face
Waiting with bated breath you brace.
Eyes of a mystic
As you strain to catch
The emotions that flicker
Is it love, anger or humor?
Like the kindling of a flame
Too bright to encounter
To catch their message
You have been holding
And now you will be the first
To look away
Vulnerable under those
Stripping you off your emotions.
Hither, thither, run I, in the pouring rain
Pitter, patter, raindrops on me falling
Whither I sway, rain tangled winds carry
Slither I, barefoot on little rivulets flowing.
Drenched, loving the rain on my skin
Quenched the thirst of parched earth
Branched trees kissing cloud laden sky
Trenched fields, ready for sowing, a fresh birth.
jungle had monkeys
swinging from the trees
then came a big chimpanzee
the monkeys didn’t fancy
locked him up and threw away the keys
lived a cat confused
heartbroken and bruised
drowned himself in booze
turned into a recluse
the vets were not amused
