In my humble opinion, I can only depend on myself. I have had two editors who at the very very last moment came up to me to say, sorrry didn’t have the time…i mean imagine that. They have half a year to tell me…all that time they keep gving me false assurances, and when it’s time to publish, i get nada! At the end i just took a leap and published them. And i am an editor myself, but who can ever edit their own books? In your case you don’t even need much of that…so just go ahead. Later you can take some help for technical stuff. 🙂
